The first half of the week will see you consuming low-calorie meals throughout the day, averaging a calorie intake of around 1200 calories per day. The energy to get through the day is there as well as burning through body fat content to make up for the deficit.

Recommended by the GM diet, is watermelon which could boost you to your goal sooner than expected. If this is your first time, cut food down into 6 shot meals. Follow these timings when executing the diet.

Breakfast at 8:00 am

Morning snack at 10:00 am

Lunch at 12:00pm.

Evening snack at 4:00 pm

Dinner at 6:00 pm

Late evening snack at 8:00 pm

Day 2 (Tuesday)

Just vegetables to be consumed in either raw or cooked form, no restrictions placed on quantity, but potato should be limited to breakfast only. Essential fibers and nutrients are obtained from the vegetables, low in calories. Fruits are off-limits on the second day.

Day 3 (Wednesday)

Blend of day 1 and 2, fruits and vegetables to be consumed except bananas. Carb intake will come from the fruits so potatoes should also be avoided.

By day 3, your body is equipped to start burning excess fat that accumulated over the years through junk food and unhealthy eating habits.

Day 4 (Thursday)

Restrictions start from the 4th day of the GM diet. Consumption of bananas and milk in either, 8 small ones or 6 large ones. Milk is restricted to 3 glasses of 250ml each, preferably skimmed milk.

Your body will absorb potassium and sodium content from the bananas and calcium from the milk.

Day 5 (Friday)

If you are a non-vegetarian, rejoice! On day 5 meat is permitted. Choices range from beef, fish or chicken along with tomatoes. Meal count is reduced from 6 meals per day to 3 meals. The meat should be divided into 2 servings containing 10 ounces each in quantity. Six tomatoes to be consumed for fiber and aiding in digestion. Iron and protein content will be absorbed from the meat.

In case if you’re a vegetarian, then substitute meat with cottage cheese or brown rice. Increase water intake as uric acid needs to be cleaned from the body’s cause of extra protein.

Day 6 (Saturday)

More meat of your choice; fish, beef or chicken in 2 servings with 10 ounces each, served with an unlimited quantity of vegetables. 3 meals allowed, and tomatoes can be dropped from the menu.

The difference in body weight and appearance can be felt from the 6th day onwards.

Day 7 (Sunday)

On the last day of the GM diet, only 3 meals permitted during the day.

Brown rice, fruit juice, and unlimited vegetables are to be consumed.

On completion, compare your weight before and after the diet plan. Your body has been cleaned internally, toxins and impurities flushed out.

It has worked for lots of people who swear by it as being a simple way to get rid of body fat without exercise.

Rest for 5 days before repeating the cycle. Once you are pleased with your reduced weight, you can stop. If nothing else, picking up the habit of consuming more fruits and vegetables is definitely a win.
